Austrian dating coach Alex León, once of James Marshall’s infamous “The Natural Lifestyles,” has had his Instagram account deleted by Meta. The nine-year-old account was permanently suspended, along with two other business Instagram accounts that the dating coach used to foster sales leads. The coach will now focus purely on YouTube, which, as far as I’m aware, hasn’t been deleted as of yet. This comes as part of a significant crackdown on dating coaches, with many critiquing “rizz” videos on the platform, with Meta Glasses, for example, being viewed as an invasion of privacy. Although Alex never used Meta Glasses, he did post “infield” videos of him approaching women, which could be a reason for his deletion.
In the same month, the Instagram account datingbyanson deleted all its content, perhaps in an attempt to protect itself from the onslaught from Meta against dating accounts. Similarly, John Anthony Lifestyle’s Instagram account was removed, along with his YouTube, after Ice White used his insider links with the company to get him banned from YouTube.
The crusade against Alex León appears to be quite intense, as Meta simultaneously banned two of his business accounts and one private account in a single action. This shows a clear “zero tolerance” policy. The cancellation of dating coaches on Instagram has not been as significant as on YouTube, but perhaps now, with the public outrage over Instagram rizz videos, Meta thought it best to act drastically and completely cancel some dating coaches to set an example.
Nevertheless, it’s a shame for Alex León, a former coach of The Natural Lifestyles, who left to form an independent business with ex-TNL coach Liam McRae. This will undoubtedly hurt their business; they essentially lost their entire Instagram audience in one go, along with the links and connections on the platform that Alex would have gained in his seven years coaching for James Marshall. The aggressive stance being shown toward dating coaches is somewhat expected. This has happened in the past on YouTube with numerous accounts like the 21 Convention, John Anthony Lifestyle being demonetized, and Tom Torero’s YouTube account being deleted. Who knows if tougher action may be taken on YouTube? However, Alex had a tendency to upload videos attempting to achieve clickbait, including one entitled “Attempting to Rizz an Arab Girl,” which also got deleted by the platform.
