Last Man Banging is the eighth and final instalment in pickup artist Nick Krauser’s career. The book opens in dreary Newcastle, where Nick is still living with his parents at age 41, before deciding on a somewhat surprising PUA trip to Bali and Thailand. This is an odd choice, especially since he had spoken negatively about Thailand in his first book, Ball’s Deep. Perhaps this signals a kind of resignation or fatigue—after all, the “hard mode” of banging women in Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Serbia, and similar places can wear a man down, and maybe something easier feels more worthwhile. However, it would have been more intriguing for him to explore a “medium mode” nation like Japan or China instead of these “passport bro” territories full of prostitutes that demand far less game to succeed in.

This is further complicated by the fact that the first two women Nick brings back ask for money, which he refuses to pay. At times, the narrative feels more like the monologue of a 65-year-old retired Brit than that of a star-studded British PUA. Still, it offers some variety by highlighting different sexual marketplaces compared to Eastern Europe.

Indeed, Thailand’s sexual marketplace is more focused on money and status than physical attraction, a point the book clearly confirms. Various last-ditch lays stumble because of the women asking Nick to pay this could lead readers to wonder about the purpose of writing daygame reports in Thailand at all. From my own 2014 experience in Thailand, I was mostly “too scared to approach locals because I feared they might have a cock.” Apart from one beach make-out with a German and zero lays in two weeks my Thailand experience was far less eventful than Nick’s escapades described here. If this is your first Nick Krauser book, you might be confused by scenes such as him having sex with an illiterate Cambodian woman while trying to figure out if she is a ladyboy. The whole narrative can be tiresome for those not into gutter or passport game, but for fans of Nick’s writing style, it still offers some enjoyment. I however can easily see why many readers wouldn’t be drawn to it.

Are lay reports from Bangkok, Manila, and Phnom Penh useful to the PUA community? Maybe. Since Nick does still land some sex from cold approaches in this series, he sets a good example. However, he doesn’t approach as much as one might hope, and even one of his daygame conquests asks him for money when he returns to his room. I was surprised Nick didn’t target hostels, which are full of horny backpackers—a better strategy than to find local women in the nightclubs which seem to be majority prostitutes .

There is little relationship development with the Thai women he sleeps with, which is unsurprising since most appear to be involved in some form of hookering. That’s the reality of daygame in Phuket—no matter how financially well-off you are, most relationships are money-driven. These women are fighting poverty, and as someone from the West, it’s hard to fully grasp how tough life can be for some of these girls. There is some sympathy from Nick in this book, unlike previous ones where he flatly refused to pay any woman who asked for money like in his pervious book “Girl Junkie” where as 17 year old Pole asks him for cash resulting in his potential SDL being fucked over.

The Bali trip is uneventful, featuring no notable lay reports. Nick returns with one attractive Tinder match, but she ends up having constipation and doesn’t want sex—literally a cockblock due to constipation.

The book then returns to typical daygame grinding, especially in Russia and Ukraine. This phase almost seems like a love-hate relationship before Nick revisits the familiar watering holes of Belgrade, Croatia, and such, banging his rotations accumulated over 4-5 years. He finishes strong by sleeping with a fresh Eastern European model, proving he still has it in his 40s, even in today’s competitive, online-driven dating scene.

For me, the book’s main disappointment is the lack of real exploration into new territories beyond Thailand a market arguably covered in his earlier book Deplorable Cad. It’s the usual places with familiar right-wing political commentary, little originality, and an arguably complacent choice of banging Thai hookers. It’s his life, and he clearly prefers Eastern European women. I would have liked to see him venture to something culturally different—maybe Brazil, South Korea, Japan, or China. Instead, it’s more of the same, with cameo appearances by figures like Steve Jabba and insights into Nick’s personal flaws, repeated encounters with previous eastern european girls who featured in his previous autobiographies “younger, hotter, tighter” and “Girl Junkie” . The book is interesting but somewhat lacking in fresh PUA perspectives or innovative ideas. There are decent tactics on overcoming Last Minute Resistance (LMR), but not much else. Philosophically, Nick reflects on the difficulty of daygame—the time and mental effort involved—but this isn’t revolutionary. Daygame has always been mentally grueling, as he discussed in earlier works like Ball’s Deep.

If you enjoy Nick’s writing style, you might like this book—I personally do—but I completely understand if others dislike it. If Nick were politically more centrist and less of a “right-wing Mr. Potato Head” figure, he might have a larger following. But he stays true to himself and doesn’t lie or cheat like some other gurus such as 0 daygame lay Ice White, John Anthony, Tom Torero, or Michael Sartain do. He sticks to his guns, and I respect that. If you do too, you will enjoy this book.

Overall Score: 6/10
